I am currently a PhD candidate in the Ferguson lab at the University of Guelph where I am studying the evolution of Icelandic Arctic charr. I am working to understand to the repeated evolution of benthic and pelagic morphs across various Icelandic lakes. I use a variety of different techniques to ask questions about the evolution of phenotypic divergence (see skills section). Along with research in evolutionary ecology, I am also an avid R coder and am currently one of the lead coordinators of the University of Guelphs R users group (UGRU). Broadly, I am interested in a variety of evolutionary and ecological research questions across multiple different (non)model systems.
